‘Yellowstone’ Beth and Rip Spinoff Is Casting Extras in Texas—and You Don’t Need Acting Experience
Taylor Sheridan’s latest ‘Yellowstone’ spinoff is casting Texas locals for multiple roles
Ever watched an episode of Yellowstone or 1923 and dreamed of seeing yourself on screen alongside your favorite actors and actresses? If you live in Texas, you just might have a chance! Earlier this week, news broke that an all-new Taylor Sheridan series, part of the Yellowstone universe, was filming outside of Dallas in Ferris, Texas.
Originally thought to be titled Rio Palo, the story was ultimately debunked by a representative from 101 Studios, who confirmed that it was not the title, and the show that was actually being filmed in the Lone Star State town was the Beth and Rip spinoff series, per Country Living. Regardless of which show is being filmed, if it has anything to do with Yellowstone, you know we’re interested! How to be an extra on a ‘Yellowstone’ spinoff
If you’re looking to dip your toes in the acting world alongside some of the biggest names in television or are just looking for a fun opportunity to experience life on the set of a major TV series, you’re in luck! The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that Legacy Casting was seeking out extras to fill a wide array of roles in the upcoming spin-off series.
The series is seeking actors in a variety of cities across the state, including Weatherford, Cleburne, Ferris and Rio Vista. For the shoot in Weatherford, they were seeking a photo double for actor Juan Pablo Raba, who you might recognize for his role in the Netflix series Narcos. Actors were to match his 6-foot-1 stature, for a shoot that took place on August 14, paying $200 for 12 hours.
In Cleburne, they’re looking for people to fill several different roles. For an August 15 shoot, they were seeking children to portray the kids of Prisoner #1, paying $200 for a total of 12 hours. Additionally, they were seeking someone to play the part of the brother of Prisoner #2, also paying $200 for 12 hours.
For shoots taking place on August 21 and 22, Legacy Casting is seeking out people to fill roles like rodeo contestants and attendees, which will pay $100 for 10 hours, as well as a part at the beer concession stand, taking place over the course of 12 hours for $200. Lastly, to play the friends of a character named Dalton, they were also looking to cast a few boys between the ages of 16 and 19.
