aylor Sheridan’s Landman is now going to premiere one week earlier than expected, but there’s a catch. Paramount has been publicly pushing November 16 — one month exactly from today — as its premiere date for Landman Season 2.
While this global launch date hasn’t changed, it has been confirmed that Landman Season 2 will premiere one week earlier, on November 9, at PaleyFest in New York. There will be an exclusive screening of the highly anticipated Season 2 premiere, and even a Q&A that follows with stars Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, and Paulina Chavez.
Landman co-creator and executive producer Christian Wallace will also be in attendance at the Q&A, but it does not mention anything about Taylor Sheridan. This November 9 PaleyFest premiere may not be accessible to everyone, it will likely give fans a chance to see if Landman Season 2 lives up to the hype.
Those in attendance at the screening will certainly be allowed to share their opinions on the premiere, and there will be plenty of coverage coming out of the event thanks to the Q&A. Tickets to the public for PaleyFest go on sale tomorrow, and all ticketing information can be found here.
Landman isn’t the only show to score an early premiere at PaleyFest this year. Apple TV is also taking Pluribus to the festival. The new series comes from creator Vince Gilligan, creator of Breaking Bad. Gilligan will be in attendance with stars Rhea Seehorn and Karolina Wydra. Netflix is even taking the second season of A Man on the Inside to PaleyFest, and beloved star Ted Danson will be in attendance for a Q&A along with other stars and creatives.
A ‘Yellowstone’ Universe Star Joins the Cast in ‘Landman’ Season 2
The cast of Landman Season 2 is expected to be largely the same as Season 1, with only some small turnover and additions. Jon Hamm is not expected back in Season 2 as Monty Miller, but this leaves Demi Moore stepping into a much larger role as his wife, Cami. 1883 star and Western veteran Sam Elliot has also been cast in Landman Season 2 as Tommy’s father, and the first Season 2 images released several months ago provided the first look at Elliot in the show.
