Episode 7 of Landman Season 2 features Tommy and Thomas on a trip that starts off messy but slowly turns meaningful. Tommy’s short vacation with Angela falls apart almost immediately because of an embarrassing incident during breakfast. Initially, it looked like an awkward moment, but it slowly turned into a serious fight until they reached the airport. Thomas notices the bad mood and stays quiet, while Ainsley tries to lighten things up. Once Angela and Ainsley are gone, Thomas finally questions Tommy, and the explanation somehow circles back to an omelet. Yes, an omelet! That was a humorous moment in the episode as the fight looked like something big happened between them, but it was just about a simple food.

Interestingly, the humor doesn’t stop there. On the road, a disagreement over a bathroom break takes place. Thomas threatens to relieve himself inside the truck, forcing Tommy to pull over. The situation gets more lighthearted when Thomas gives a death stare to a rattlesnake, which keeps it away. At a roadside café, the moment turns thoughtful as Thomas decides to give his son a lesson. He simply uses the speed at which he’s eating, pointing out how little time Tommy gives himself to actually live. Thomas also mentions that slowing down won’t remove his problems or solve issues at M-Tex. However, it will give him some time to think and relax before making tough decisions.
