Cooper Finally Proposed To Ariana In Landman Season 2, Episode 7
After a series of tests and challenges, Cooper finally got the chance to propose to Ariana in Landman season 2, episode 7. So far, Cooper has had to fight to get back into Ariana’s house after being kicked out, drive to Corpus Christi to ask for Ariana’s father’s blessing, and pass a test from Elvio’s grandmother before he could propose. Finally, once he passed all those tests and got Angela’s engagement ring, Cooper finally did the deed. As Landman season 2, episode 7 showed, Cooper proposed by creating a trail of rose petals to the back porch. Once Ariana arrived, he told her that “forever will be over before you know it, so we better not waste a moment of it.” Their earlier conversation, where Ariana said that the wedding isn’t the important part of a marriage, may also indicate that Cooper and Ariana are going to get married before Landman season 2 is over.
Tommy Listened To TL’s Advice & Decided To Start Enjoying Life
One of the biggest changes that started in Landman season 2, episode 7 centered around Tommy. While travelling with TL, Tommy’s father told him that he was wasting his life by running from one problem to the next without ever stopping to enjoy what he had. Later on, Tommy actually took TL’s advice to heart, as he told Angela that he was going to start enjoying his life and making sure she knew how much he loves her. Tommy deciding to listen to TL and try to avoid wasting his life like his father did could have some big implications for Landman season 2. His relationship with Angela is almost certainly going to get better, but Tommy may even start stepping back from all his responsibilities at M-Tex in favor of spending time with his family. That may be perfect timing, since it doesn’t seem like Tommy has much time as M-Tex’s president left.
Nate Forced Rebecca To Acknowledge Her Relationship With Charlie
Landman‘s newest romantic pairing – between Rebecca and Charlie – also got a big update this week. Rebecca slept over at Charlie’s camper in Landman season 2, episode 6, and after calling Charlie instead of Charles, Nate figured out that she was sleeping with him. Nate then forced Rebecca to sign a conflict form to let M-Tex’s leadership know that she had a sexual relationship with a subordinate. Rebecca was very upset at having to sign the conflict form, as it was an official document saying that she had broken company policy and slept with one of her employees. Even though Tommy assured her that she wouldn’t be fired for it, this could still have a big impact on Landman. Tommy told Nate that he should reconsider airing out Rebecca’s dirty laundry, and he may have a point. Rebecca could easily construe Nate’s conflict form as an attack. As Tommy mentioned, no one wants Rebecca as an enemy, and she may decide to retaliate against Nate after this. Even if she isn’t fired, her relationship with Charlie is going on an official professional record, and Rebecca’s career is the most important thing in her life. Nate and Rebecca may be going to war before Landman season 2 is over.
Landman Season 2’s Offshore Rig Situation Explained
While the business side of M-Tex didn’t have a huge focus in episode 7, there was a key development in the offshore natural gas rig’s repair. Charlie explained all the geology behind the offshore rig to Rebecca, and the bottom line of his explanation was that there’s only a 10% chance the rig will still produce gas once they get it up and running. At $420 million, M-Tex is taking a huge risk on the rig. Charlie also deduced that the blowout at the rig wasn’t caused by the hurricane, but could have been caused by a number of other geological problems. Nate then realized that was Monty’s plan all along: Monty knew the rig was a risky gamble, so he took the insurance money and decided he had better odds of winning in court than in rebuilding the offshore rig.
