‘The Madison’ Sets Premiere Date — See Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell’s First Photo
As the Yellowstone universe continues to expand on Paramount+, fans are getting the first official look at the latest spinoff, The Madison. Led by Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, creator Taylor Sheridan’s new drama set in Montana follows the Clyburns, New York City transplants living in the Madison River valley. In new images released by Paramount+ on Jan. 16, fans are getting a first look at the Clyburns’ life out West.
According to streamer, The Madison is “a profound love story channeled through a deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation.” Said to be Sheridan’s “most intimate work to date,” the series will unfold “across two distinct worlds — the beautiful landscape of Montana and the vibrant energy of Manhattan — as it examines the ties that bind families together.”

Paramount+ adds that the six-episode first season, which will kick off in March, “is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection” that spans across the country. It also features a sprawling ensemble that also includes Patrick J. Adams, who is coming off the Netflix limited series Wayward, and Matthew Fox, in his first major TV role since Lost.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, when the series was first announced, it was set to take place after the events of the original series starring Kevin Costner. It was meant to continue the Dutton family story with the introduction of new characters as well as retaining some old ones. However, it’s unclear if the Clyburns have any direct relation to the Duttons.
