Rebecca’s introduction to Charlie is on a plane full of whiskey, nervous giggles, and turbulence enough to shake her fear of flying. What promises to begin as a night of escape takes an interesting turn when Rebecca discovers the handsome stranger is Charlie Newsom, an oil field geologist who is more complex than he initially seemed.

“It’s probably going nowhere, but for now, this is where we are. As it evolves, because of what his occupation is, naturally, she also comes to find this guy has an expertise in this area. I think there’s a natural evolution for him to then become involved in Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore’s M-Tex world. I think you’ll begin to see that he branches out beyond just his relationship with Rebecca.”
They reconnect through M-Tex business, with Rebecca reluctantly pulling Charlie into her work life.
