The Bringing Up Bates star, 33, announced the sex of his second baby on the way with wife Tiffany, showcasing the entire epic racing-themed reveal on his YouTube. With his 16-month-old son, William, sitting in a tiny blue car and his 3-year-old niece, Kenna, riding in a pink car, the family watched as the two toddlers drove laps around the backyard.
At the end of the race, William’s car took the lead and crossed the finish line first, revealing that the couple is expecting another boy. Blue confetti exploded in the air as everyone celebrated the exciting news.
“Two boys, guys. I have two sons,” Lawson said. “I would say I can’t believe it, but I can believe it. Two boys in a row. It’s little Lawson and Nathan. It’s going to be crazy. We can’t wait. Little man will be here very soon. It flew by last time and it’s gonna fly by even faster,” he said. “And I know Will is gonna be a great big brother.”
The couple first revealed they were expecting their second baby in June, sharing the exciting news on their Instagram and in a video posted to their YouTube channel. In a series of photos, Tiffany and Lawson posed together with their son Will, whom they welcomed last July, along with a series of sonogram images. “Wanted: A new Deputy! Our little Sheriff has backup coming SOON 🫶🏼,” Lawson wrote in his caption. They also included a sweet video on Instagram, writing, “Big brother activated! Coming Winter 2025 🤍,” in a joint post.
In her own Instagram post, Tiffany shared different photos from their family photoshoot, which included a cowboy hat and a pair of tiny cowboy boots. “Our family’s sequel is officially in production 🎞️🍼🫶 BABY 2 COMING WINTER 2025 🌟,” the expectant mom wrote in her caption.
In their YouTube vlog, Tiffany and Lawson addressed the baby boom that’s happening in their family. “Someone else in the family is pregnant, but we are literally a day apart,” said Tiffany. “When we had the seven boys in a row, Katie and Esther were literally less than five days apart. I think Lydia and Emerson [are] coming up less than two weeks apart, so me and the other person in the family are probably less than 24 hours apart,” she said. “Pretty crazy everyone is pregnant in the Bates family. It’s so exciting…and it’s so surreal.”
In July 2024, Tiffany and Lawson welcomed their first baby, son William Daniel. They first shared the news in a video on YouTube on July 30. Titled “Baby Bates Is Here! Birth Story Pt. 1,” the video shows the moments leading up to their son’s birth.

Shortly afterward, Lawson and Tiffany shared a post on Instagram on what would have been Tiffany’s due date, writing in the caption, “IT’S BABY TIME 👼🍼🩵. Happy Due Date, little one – July 30! We can’t believe you would’ve still been in mommy’s tummy to this today! You’re the most precious baby in the world and make our hearts melt into a puddle! Thank you for coming into our lives 🤍.”
That previous March, the parents announced that they were expecting their first baby together, sharing the exciting news in a joint Instagram post. In the video, Tiffany ran up to her husband, holding a series of sonogram images. Lawson picked her up and twirled her around as they stood together on a beach, cuddling in close.
“Baby Bates coming early Summer 2024 🤍 Full video out now // God is so good and we are so grateful for our little miracle 🌈,” they wrote in their caption.
