Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann recently took to Instagram to celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary. The couple, who were made famous by shows like 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On, shared tributes to each other in various posts. However, even bigger news was yet to come a few days later in another post.
Counting On Star Jana Duggar Shared A Video Of Her & Stephen Out & About For Their Anniversary
Jana and her family were introduced to fans through a number of reality series. This included 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On. Jana and her twin brother John-David were the family’s first set of twins, with Jana being Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s first daughter. In her own personal life, Jana has been married to Stephen Wissmann since 2024.
Jana recently took to Instagram to share some updates as she and Stephen are set to celebrate a number of firsts. As she wrote in a caption, “Just celebrated one year of marriage with my favorite person, and it has been the best year! I look forward to many more years together!” In the accompanying video, Jana and Stephen started out the video enjoying breakfast together at the Engine House Cafe in Nebraska. A caption read, “We had a wonderful time celebrating our first anniversary!”
The two then headed out for some shopping at T.J. Maxx. They continued to eat out while enjoying each other’s company, sitting down to a steak dinner before going out for ice cream. The video then ended with a series of photos of Jana and Stephen’s weddings. Captions read “Happy one year to my Forever Love!” and “Here’s to many more years to come.”
Even Bigger News Came Out A Few Days After The Share
For his part, Stephen also shared a tribute to Jana on Instagram. He shared a compilation video of photos and videos of their time together, starting with their wedding. The video was set to Jordan Feliz’s “Praise God for That.” A caption read, “I know this is a day late, but yesterday I was SO blessed to have celebrated one year of life and marriage with my best friend! Thru the ups and downs, life with you only keeps getting better and better! Love you more than ever @janamduggar!!!!!”
This also came out shortly before the couple shared some big news with fans a few days later. The two announced they were having a baby: “We are so excited. January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family! We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!” The joint-post also thanked Alaythia Wissmann for taking the photo.
