November 16 Will Be A Huge Day For Taylor Sheridan Fans

Taylor Sheridan has been a force in the world of TV since 2018, but November 16th will mark an extra special day for fans of his shows. Sheridan had already found success as the writer behind movies like Sicario and Wind River, but 2018 welcomed Sheridan’s biggest achievement to date: Yellowstone. Seven years later, the Yellowstone universe consists of three shows, with several more spinoffs on the way.

Though Sheridan is still putting a lot of energy into Yellowstone and its spinoffs, his TV presence as a whole has greatly expanded since 2018. Between 2021 and 2024, Sheridan released a new drama per year with Mayor of KingstownTulsa KingLioness, and Landman. Three of those four will just so happen to overlap in mid-November, creating a special day for Sheridan viewers.

The fall months have already been good to Taylor Sheridan fans, but November 16th, in particular, is worthy of extra excitement. Not only will the third Sunday in November feature the premiere of Landman season 2, but it will also welcome new episodes of Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown. All three of the following episodes will release November 16th on Paramount+:

  • Landman season 2, episode 1, “Death and a Sunset”
  • Tulsa King season 3, episode 9, “Dead Weight
  • Mayor of Kingstown season 4, episode 4, “Sins of Omission”

Landman‘s return will likely get the most attention, especially after the viewership success of the first season of the Billy Bob Thornton-led drama. Though Jon Hamm’s villain character won’t be back in Landman season 2, the show’s cast is getting a notable addition with Sam Elliot, who will be playing Tommy Norris’ father. Elliot previously led Sheridan’s Yellowstone prequel, 1883, which also guest-starred Billy Bob Thornton.

As for Tulsa King, November 16th will see the penultimate episode of season 3. The most recent installment of Sylvester Stallone’s crime drama introduced Samuel L. Jackson’s mobster character, Russell Lee Washington Jr., who will be the focus of the upcoming spinoff titled NOLA King. Meanwhile, Jeremy Renner’s Mayor Kingstown will still be going strong with its fourth season on November 16th, with the new entry airing until late December.

Taylor Sheridan’s TV Domination Will Grow In 2026

As the Taylor Sheridan TV universe continues to grow, 2026 will also see an expansion of the Yellowstone franchise. Y: Marshals, the spinoff focused on Yellowstone‘s Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), will debut on CBS in 2026. There’s also a good chance that Sheridan’s other Yellowstone spinoff, The Madison, will debut next year. It was recently announced that Kurt Russell has joined the show, which already stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, and Matthew Fox.

2026 could even be bigger for fans of Sheridan shows, depending on which existing shows return with new seasons. Aside from LandmanTulsa King, and Mayor of KingstownLioness season 3 has been confirmed. NOLA King will also likely aim for a 2026 debut, while Yellowstone‘s Beth and Rip spinoff, The Dutton Ranch, could finally get a confirmed release as we await updates on two other Yellowstone spinoffs in development. Either way, Taylor Sheridan certainly isn’t slowing down.
