More on ‘Lioness’ and ‘The Dutton Ranch’
“Lioness” follows CIA operative Joe (Zoe Saldaña) as she balances her “personal and professional lives as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror.” While the show’s first season filmed on the East Coast, its second season primarily filmed in North Texas. In addition to Saldaña, “Lioness” stars Michael Kelly, Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman.
“The Dutton Ranch” sees Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprise their roles from “Yellowstone.” “The Dutton Ranch, home to Beth Dutton (Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Hauser), is a testament to the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died for, as they’ve come to cherish their 7,000-acre land. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter (Finn Little) becomes the man he’s supposed to be,” the show’s logline reads. In addition to the returning “Yellowstone” actors, the show also stars Ed Harris and Annette Bening.
Paramount has yet to announce a premiere date for either series. “Lioness” seasons 1 and 2 are available on Paramount+.
