‘Bringing Up Bates‘: Trace & Lydia Bates Share How Big 2026 Is For Them

Trace and Lydia recently uploaded a 23-minute vlog answering some of the questions they have received over the past few days. One of them is about their biggest plans this year. According to the Bringing Up Bates stars, they have found a land they want to build on. They’re interested in purchasing it, hoping to build a farmhouse-type property.

Trace and Lydia have been renting a two-bedroom house for quite some time. And with their growing family, the two are now considering expanding their space. Trace and Lydia also mentioned their desire to have more kids. They’re even considering adding another fur baby, which could either be a dog or a cat.

Did Trace Bates Say Family Show Coming?

Aside from their 2026 plans, Trace and Lydia Bates also answered questions about the reality show’s possible return. According to Trace, there are currently no reality show projects in the works that he knows of. However, he thinks some of his siblings may be planning a type of family show.

Regardless, Trace revealed that he’s still getting paid from Bringing Up Bates every year, and he feels blessed for it. Trace revealed that he and Lydia have more videos to come, including their ski trip. Many fans showed support for Trace and his family.
