Yellowstone’s Kevin Costner Teams With Hollywood Legend for New Historical Epic Coming Very Soon

Yellowstone star Kevin Costner is set to return to TV screens for a new historical drama series, co-produced with another Hollywood icon. Yellowstone’s Kevin Costner is set to make a triumphant return to the small screen with his next venture, an epic Civil War series slated for release on Prime Video next year. The Hollywood heavyweight is teaming up with fellow silver screen legend Morgan Freeman to produce the eight-part series titled The Gray House. Scheduled to hit the streaming platform in early 2026, the historical drama will follow the riveting tale of a group of female spies who played a pivotal role in winning the war.

Not only does the series boast the creative prowess of two cinema icons behind the scenes, but it also promises a star-studded cast featuring familiar faces and rising stars. Heading the cast are Mary-Louise Parker, known for her role in The West Wing, Daisy Head from Harlots, Kindred’s breakout star Amethyst Davis, and Roots’ Ben Vereen, reports the Mirror.

In addition to the star power of Costner and Freeman, the creative team behind the series is equally impressive. Leslie Greif, the producer behind the Emmy-winning miniseries Hatfields and McCoys, which starred Costner and Bill Paxton, penned the series alongside Darrell Fetty and John Sayles.

Moreover, Oscar-nominated director Roland Joffé, known for his work on The Killing Fields and The Mission, directed all eight episodes.
