Taylor Sheridan’s latest cowboy series The Madison has already been renewed for season 3 – before season 2 has even aired.
The drama, which launched this March, starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, has broken records for streaming service Paramount+ since its release.
Now, the team have announced they will be returning to Montana to tell more of the story with a third outing.
Fans will not have to wait long for season 2 either, with production already completed, though the release date is yet to be announced.
The Madison, which is created by Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan but is not part of that universe, follows a family as they deal with grief and loss.

Based around the New York native Clyburn family, led by Pfeiffer and Russell as Stacy and Preston Clyburn, episode one opens with a shocking biplane accident in rural Montana that leads to the death of two beloved members of the family.
In shock, the Clyburns head to the Madison River valley to visit the ranch where their loved ones stayed to handle the funeral arrangements.
But soon they find themselves drawn away from city life and towards the peace of the rural countryside as they struggle to deal with the realities of losing someone so close.
The series then backs and forths between the two different worlds of metropolitan Manhattan and rural Montana, as well as what they provide the Clyburn family.
Joining Pfeiffer and Russell in the cast is Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, and Will Arnett.
Its premiere episode alone drew in eight million views across the first 10 days after launch, beating Yellowstone as Sheridan’s most watched series debut ever.
The Madison is available to watch now on Paramount+.
